The Promise, in One Paragraph
When Topside Attic Insulation finishes a job at your home, we stand behind the workmanship for 90 days from the date of service – no asterisks, no buried conditions, no fee to invoke it. If something we did isn’t holding up the way it should, call us. We’ll come back, we’ll look at it, and we’ll make it right. That’s the whole promise. The details below are here so you know exactly what it covers, not to create room for us to wiggle out.
What’s Covered
- The workmanship on any service we performed. If we air-sealed, insulated, encapsulated, or installed something and the result isn’t right, the fix is on us.
- Materials we supplied and installed. Every product we put in your home – insulation, vapor barrier, foam, fasteners – is covered for the full 90-day window.
- A return visit at no charge. Scheduling the follow-up costs you nothing: no service call fee, no diagnostic charge, no invoice for us to look at what we did.
- A redo when a repair doesn’t hold. If we come back, address a concern, and it comes back again within the 90-day period, we return and do it again until it holds.
- Cleanup after any return visit. We leave the space in the same condition we found it – documented with photos before we go, same as the original job.
- Our documented record of the original job. You don’t need to dig up a receipt or a work order. We have the job on file: scope, photos, blower-door readings where applicable, and the written price we agreed on before we started.
What Isn’t Covered

- Damage caused by a storm, flood, fire, pest infestation, or accident after our visit. If something outside our control alters the work, that’s a new conversation – but we’ll still come look, and we’ll tell you honestly what we see.
- Work performed by another contractor. If someone else has touched the same area since our visit, we can’t stand behind what we didn’t do. We’ll still inspect and let you know where things stand.
- Parts or materials you supplied yourself. We warranty what we source. If a product came from you rather than us, we can’t control its quality or predict its performance.
- Problems you declined to have addressed when we flagged them. If our technician noted a concern during the original visit and you chose not to include that in the scope, that item falls outside the promise. We noted it; we just didn’t fix it.
- Normal settling or compression of insulation we didn’t install. Existing materials in your attic or walls age on their own schedule. We’re responsible for what we put in, not what was already there.
- Equipment or systems we didn’t work on. The promise covers Envelope’s building-envelope work. HVAC units, electrical systems, and other mechanical equipment are outside our scope entirely.
How to Use the Promise
Step 1: Call (218) 261-7714 or book online
There’s no form to fill out, no claim number to track down, and no receipt to dig up. A live person answers every call – day or night, no voicemail loop.
Step 2: Tell us the job and roughly when
Give us a short description of the concern and an approximate date of service. We pull up the job file on our end – scope, photos, and all – so you don’t have to reconstruct anything.
Step 3: We schedule the return visit
We give you a real appointment window with a named technician and a text when they’re on the way. No “someone will call you back in a few business days.”
Step 4: We make it right
The technician reviews the original documentation, assesses the concern, and does the work to bring it to where it should have been. A new photo record is created when they leave.
Timing

The 90-day window runs from the date of service recorded in your job file – not the date you call, not the date of your first inspection. If you reach out just after the window closes, we don’t slam a door on you. We’ll come look. We may not be able to offer a no-charge fix on every situation outside the window, but we will be honest about what we find and what it would take to address it. Every location operating under The Haven Standard honors this promise independently, because each one is independently owned and operated – their crews, their license, their neighbors.
Questions About the Promise
If something feels off about work we did, or if you’re unsure whether your situation falls inside the promise, call us at (218) 261-7714. A live person picks up. You’ll have an answer in minutes, not business days, and you’ll never be routed to a voicemail box to wait.
